The recordins have been made in the 75th anniversary concerts of Ylioppilaskunnan Soittajat in the Tapiola Hall of the Culture Centre of Espoo and in the Festive Hall of University of Helsinki in Spring 2001.

Academic Chapelle, the first Finnish orchestra, was established in 1747. As a direct continuator of its traditions and activity Ylioppilaskunnan Soittajat celebrated the year 1997 with festive concert, in which the recordings have been made.
